Global Ready Talent Programme (Internship)
The programme serves to build a local talent pipeline by connecting local students who are looking for local/overseas internship and Singapore enterprises that are keen on developing young local talent.
As one of the Approved-in-Principle (AIP) partners appointed by Enterprise Singapore, SGTech serves as the primary contact point for GRT-related matters. Do reach out to us at [email protected].
How does it work?
- Training: Student will receive mentorship by industry professionals, gain exposure to local and/or overseas industries and be equipped with the skillset needed to be a global ready talent.
- Internship Matching: Students gain access to an additional platform for available internship opportunity. Explore available internship opportunity on the BeGlobalReady Website.
How will Students benefit?
- Access to Companies: Student can source from a wider pool of companies through BeGlobalReady website for local or overseas internship opportunities.
- Provision of Stipend: All GRT programme approved internship will receive a minimum monthly stipend of:

To be eligible for the programme, you need to:
- Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Be a full-time student from local Institute of Technical Education, Polytechnic and participating University
- Have no association with the company you are undergoing internship in any way that may give rise to conflict of interest. You should not be an immediate family member (i.e. child) of any key shareholder.
- Have cleared the Institute of Higher Learning’s selection process for internships
Application Process
- Login to GRTNet using Singpass
- Apply for suitable internships at BeGlobalReady website
- Participating companies will contact you for an interview if you are shortlisted
- At the end of the internship, upload your internship report and fill in the feedback form

What is the duration of internship?
Duration of internship varies according to companies’ request; it can last from 2 months to 1 year.
What kind of internship is available under the GRT programme?
Only full-time internships are applicable for the programme. Part-time or temporary internships are not supported.
